Children's Day Anchoring Script
Children’s Day is a special day dedicated to raising awareness about the rights, education, and welfare of children. The date of observance varies by country. In India, it is celebrated on November 14th every year, on the birthday of the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known to be fond of children.
Internationally, Children’s Day was first proclaimed in Geneva during the World Conference on Child Welfare in 1925 and is celebrated on June 1st in many countries. The United Nations also observes World Children’s Day on November 20th each year to promote international togetherness and improve children’s welfare.
